I.B.E.W. Local 110 has a Statewide Contract for low voltage members to work under. That contract is the Limited Energy Agreement or often referred to as the L.E.A. Members who work under this contract can expect a decent wage, retirement benefits, excellent health care package, and paid vacation/holiday/sick time. We also have our own Limited Energy education program and training center, which is recognized by the state of Minnesota as an approved Apprenticeship Program. Some of the types of systems our contractors install and service includes Data/Communications, Security/Access Control, Fire Alarm, and Television/Video.

There are 2 classifications that our member’s work under - Installer and Technician. The wage ranges are about $11.00 to $19.00 for Installers and $18.00 to $27.00 for Technicians. Wages are based typically on education, skills, and ability. If you are interested in learning more about this program or you are working currently in this industry and would like to know more about becoming a union member, contact Rick Bieniek either by telephone or through this website.

As a side note I.B.E.W. Local 110 also has stand alone Low Voltage Agreements with ADT Security, Electro Watchman, Ideacom Mid-America, and Trans Alarm.
