Plugged Into Wellness

How does $25 in your pocket sound? How about another $200 to spend at Cabela’s®? Sounds pretty good, right? Well, the St. Paul Electrical Workers Board of Trustees has your chance to make it happen. Read on to learn how.

On March 16, the St. Paul Electrical Workers Board of Trustees will host an Open House at the General Membership Hall. The event will run from 12 noon until 6 p.m. and all members and their spouses are invited to attend.

During the Open House, you will have a chance to earn a $25 Cub Food gift card for taking an online health assessment (or a $15 card for taking the paper version). Your spouse will be able to earn the same reward. Everyone who completes the health assessment during the Open House also will be entered into a raffle for more exciting prizes—including a $200 Cabela’s® gift card.

The health assessment is part of “Plugged into Wellness,” a benefit program aimed at getting you more involved in your health and well-being. The program is available, at no cost, to all members of the St. Paul Electrical Workers Health Plan and their spouses.

What is a health assessment?
It is a simple set of questions about your health and lifestyle. The results will give you a snap-shot of your current health status, areas where you are doing well and those that could use more attention. Health Coaches from the Plugged into Wellness program will be on hand at the Open House to answer questions you may have about the program, your results and your options for moving forward.

If you are unable to attend the event, you and your spouse still can earn your gift cards for completing the health assessment by May 30, 2010. You can take it online through the secure Plugged into Wellness website or request a paper copy at the benefits office.
